That you really can endure. That you are really strong. And you really do have worth. And you learn and you learn. With every good bye you learn.
There’s only so many times you can allow someone to let you down before you can’t handle the disappointment anymore. When things change, people change; and it doesn’t mean you forget the past, it simply means you try to move on & treasure the memories. Letting go doesn’t mean giving up, it means accepting the things that weren’t meant to be. There’s a point in life when you get tired of chasing everyone, trying to fix everything, but it’s not giving up; you got to do what’s right for you.. even if it hurts. I’ve come to realize that in the end, everyone turns out to be the person they swore they’d never be.
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you & yourself. It was never between you and them anyway.
